This sounds great! A New Social: “We believe in an open social web centered around people, not platforms. We build bridges, not walls.” The non-profit organization will be the new home for Bridgy Fed.
@manton Wow, how awesome. I am still unsure how to feel about the big web vs. the small web sort of independent spaces like what we have here, but a more open social web is definitely more welcome compared to a closed down, proprietary one.
@manton I’m not knowledgeable enough in the area of computer engineering to know precisely what this means, although I have a vague big-picture idea. Color me skeptical. We need better humans, not better platforms.
