What I like about @dave’s Drummer outliner is that it’s unlike any other blog editor. It’s not going to work for everyone, but we need more experiments. Tool diversity is an open web strength.
@manton agreed! Textpattern and Micro.blog and MarsEdit and Drummer are my toolset and I am so grateful to you and all developers for giving me ways to write and express myself and my observations about the world.
@manton I hadn't heard of Drummer before. I'll have to watch it, especially the Instant Outline aspect of it. It might be something to incorporate in Zavala.
@vincode Some kind of integration with Zavala would be really interesting. Drummer is basically an editor for OPML in the cloud, with a Frontier-like scripting system.
@manton The lack of any type of API creates a pretty strong constraint on integration. Import/export is not a workable solution, need to at least be file read/write if no API. Micro.blog’s support for micropub means there could be a way to write in Drummer and publish to micro.blog, but won’t go in the reverse direction.
