@jean @dwalbert I also love Middlemarch, @JohnBrady I lean more toward Dostoevsky, but it's been awhile since I've read him.
@annahavron Dostoyevsky is a bit too histrionic for me. Confession: I've never been able to finish Brothers Karamazov, so I still don't know who did it.
@JohnBrady I feel the same way and have also never made it more than halfway through that book, despite several attempts over the course of my adult life.
@JohnBrady I went directly to Daniel Deronda. It’s also been ages since I read Anna Karenina. I have also been thinking of a return to Robertson Davies.
