Is it just me or has social media, especially Christian social media become meaner over the last year?
@marmanold I didn't even know there was a “Christian social media.” Is that kind of like CCM: “If you like X (secular group), you may like Y (derivative Christian group)?
@andrewterry I know, right? It’s been really trying for me to see even priests being mean and unkind on social media. I think the sooner everyone is back to worshiping face-to-face, the better. The effects of quarantine have been hurtful to the church.
@marmanold I think you’re being too generous! I think the covid situation has brought out what was really stirring within people’s hearts. It really has opened my eyes to my own biases and tendencies.
@marmanold I recently discovered weird Christian Twitter. At times it’s hilarious, but there’s certainly a darker side too. And some of the fights between factions 😖
