LPs ? I know it is possible .. but not in our house. Singles .. yes. Never Albums. Maybe because albums I listened to were complete epics (I was young) … but also the sheer weight of the vinyl .. and the damage …

@hjalm oh yes - old enough to admit I had one myself - but never to stack LPs - only singles. I mean mine would do it - but for me - the idea of dropping 12 inches of vinyl onto another 12 inches of rotating vinyl was simply not something I could bring myself to do.

Or are you saying there was a special one designed to handle LPs size and weight?

@JohnPhilpin The albums survived stacking. It’s so funny how my Mom, Dad, siblings and I have passed vinyl records around for decades now. Everybody wanted to give theirs away when CDs came out and then everyone wanted them back when vinyl became cool again.
