I have the first client for my sketchnote services (which I haven’t really advertised!) but now I’m working out how to collaborate with her. I’m thinking of using a tool like Basecamp or something as I want to have a place with documents (contract, logos, brand information) and files. Suggestions?

@ChrisJWilson are they technical? People say Basecamp is great for non-technical collaborators. But it’s expensive. Craft is free with SetApp and I hear great things about it.

@agilelisa I hadn't thought of craft (I guess notion would be an option too which I am more familiar with). I don't know if they are a mac user but I believe craft has good web options (and this is a good excuse to get setapp...). I do want something that will work for future clients too.

@ChrisJWilson I vote for Basecamp. Great tool.

@vincent Have you used it with your clients? I imagine you have different needs but I'd love to know some first hand experience. I used it for some fun projects with @chadgmoore and really liked it.

@ChrisJWilson we use it internally at Micro.blog. It’s usually just @manton and me when we’re working on projects, for example Strata (for the new Notes feature) was a Basecamp project. We also have assets for logos and other things residing in our main project. Easy to get to. I think everyone is on the same page, especially with weekly check-ins.
