I'm going to install iPadOS 26 but, from what I'm seeing and reading, it doesn’t seem likely that I'll be updating to iOS or macOS 26 for a while.
@cdevroe This is my plan. I have an iPad I rarely use, so I am going to install 26 on it and see what I like or don't about it.
@rickscully I'm updating the iPad purely for the new window management system that is _long_ overdue. And, yes, I use it less than both my mobile phone and computer.
@cdevroe yeah I disabled macOS and iPhone auto updates and will be waiting a little while. I can’t afford for software, terminal and other stuff to potentially break. Not too worried about iPhone / iPad but not worrying to get update either
