Spent another Saturday 'chainsaw gardening'. Had a great time and still have all my limbs!
Taking all of the branches and leaves to the tip is less fun, I'll grant you that.

@dajb quit posting such things on the public Internet, you'll give non-chainsaw owning people ideas about owning chainsaws.
@epilepticrabbit I confess to not owning a chainsaw. I borrowed the one I used from a neighbour π
@dajb @epilepticrabbit For some reason, that will always remain a mystery to me, I bought a chainsaw a few years ago.
I have yet to use itβ¦
@dajb be careful but also love that you borrowed from neighbour I am such a fan of street sharing these kind of tools

I did the same thing, with the intent of removing some buckthorn in the back yard. It's still in its box.
I convince a neighbour to cut down the buckthorn, but it's resilient, and you have to use a herbicide on it after you cut it.
I also bought the herbicide. Again, never used.
The buckthorn is thriving to this day.
@Downes @dajb @epilepticrabbit The trees around here that grow like weeds and are very persistent are Rowan. Iβm sure I had plans of taming them, but whatever the plans were, they are long forgotten.
@fgraver @Downes @epilepticrabbit Sounds like I need to take the chainsaw on a world tour π
