@ChrisJWilson that’s a nice idea. Actually I need to move some of my obsidian texts into Ulysses - no mobile obsidian means I was ending up with stuff in two places and hand not really got into the graph view yet properly.
@adamprocter I'm fairly sure I've stolen it as I remember seeing it in someone else’s notes but I can't remember who. It may even be common in the obsidian community! I can understand, I've had some issues transferring files from drafts to desktop when obsidian doesn't recognize them for some reason. I know the mobile app is in closed beta and I'm one supporter group away from getting access. I sure you could do most of what I do with ulysses, but I do like the standard markdown of obsidian.
@ChrisJWilson yes I think I’m as Close to beta as you. I am hopeful Papers App (ReadCube) will add citekey support to Ulysses as I don’t want to do the word dance and am also now publishing to manifold which Ulysses does via its html export. Plus I need one note repo. I kinda need to migrate a ton of ransom markdown and foldingtext files into Ulysses library really but I also use deskset which may not like the md files being on Ulysses. Need to do some more thinking to better organise myself. The fact obsidian has built in present deck view is a big bonus. Hmmm why is organising plain text so complicated 🤣
@adamprocter 🤣it certainly should be easier than this. Migration in particular. I'm thankful that ulysses is very easy to export to plain text (even if the formatting is a bit off) I wish more apps were the same.
