@manton Thanks for addressing this. For the last one that I asked, this Q does supplement the values of Micro.blog topic. Some of the things you mentioned are great - no adding ads, closed silo, etc.
It would be great if this (living) document existed on the website (micro.blog/philosophy?) with other SMART value statements - "make it easier for more people to use blogs, encouraging domain names and content ownership."
Think of it as a Micro.blog Constitution that can be amended as times change but with certain immutable aspects that you rather shut Micro.blog than include them.
@JohnPhilpin I didn't want to use that word lest people imagine @manton in a log cabin in the woods on the Oregon coast 😆
@pratik @JohnPhilpin The idea of getting away to a cabin in the woods and getting some work done is appealing... The problem is wi-fi. 🙂 By the way, this help article that I wrote at the very beginning is still pretty close to a manifesto.
@manton thanks for hitting more of these. I dropped one in the chat which I'll understand if you don't want to commit on, but in case you missed it: is there any prospect of allowing larger file uploads, perhaps for Premium subscribers? I'd love a little more flexibility, particularly for audio files (and therefore podcast length). Thanks.
@manton you don’t need wifi to write 🤪
The help piece is a good start ... And if it really is ’that which should not be called’ a manifesto ... shouldn’t it be more front and center ... on the main site for all to see?
It is missing the 3,4,5 bullets clearly highlighting what microBlog is up front and ready to go ... The as a thread about the bullets just recently.

@adam Oh sorry, I thought we had answered it in the panel. Yes, I've been meaning to bump up the upload size a little. Will try to prioritize that.
