My take on the classic Field Notes “Pony Express” leather pouch. Easily holds 3 notebooks and even one of the field notes pens. Large nickel snap, edges left alone (not burnished smooth). Oiled and a coat of leather balm. Thick leather. This small pouch is substantial. Will age beautifully.
is what I carry when out and about. Phone on the left, notebooks/cash/etc in the large pocket on the right. Stitched on top of that is a smaller pocket for cards/ID/etc. I clip a pencil and flashlight into the middle. Folds shut perfectly.
