I went to bed last night feeling fine, but this morning I woke up and my back hurts, my knees hurt and a can’t bend down without groaning.
I checked my phone and there are multiple “happy birthday” texts. Ah yeah, I turned 40 today. Bollocks.

@kev if it's any consolations, I'm in my mid forties and I have these mornings too.
But I'm also in a good physical shape (better than most of my life, though I had higher "peaks" before), height of my career, surrounded by people who care for me, and part of other interesting communities where I can talk much more freely than ever before.
It's not all bad man. I know you know it, but do you? :-)
