And yet:

@JohnPhilpin You have extra quote marks around the first video's URL — specifically the ones closest to the link, slanted as if italicised — which if you remove might fix the issue.
@SimonWoods GAH!!! You have GOT to be kidding me - you are absolutely right. Fixed.
How did you spot so easily? I have had this issue in the past - commented on it - read what @AndySylvester has said - read what @manton has said - and still caught out.
Even more annoying is that I have the code as a text expander snippet - and STILL it messed up - despite last time this happened I thought I had solved that.
