@afterdark Click on the three vertical dots and click on "View post in browser." Then click on the three dots at the top right of the browser and select Share. I then point to my email service, select the email from & to addresses and send the email off. You get an email with whatever subject you want to type in and the URL of the posting.
I do this with Android and have done it for years. Very fast & easy.
@afterdark I use Drafts for that. Share to Drafts, the URL and title already there, ready to post. I can add whatever I want below, or above it.
Then tap the button above the keyboard, and that’s it. It’s posted.
@cdevroe @afterdark I thought there was a bookmarklet for this somewhere, but I can't find it. I did have a blog post with how to format a new post, though, which is ideal for a bookmarklet.
@pimoore Drafts for everything smaller, iA Writer for bigger posts with images. Using Ulysses at the moment, thanks to the extended trial, and enjoying it (the images previews are awesome for me), but I don’t think I’ll subscribe at the end. Back to iA Writer when the day comes. But everything starts at Drafts. Love it.
@maique Drafts really is an amazing app, it’s well worth the subscription cost. It’s too bad the iA Writer m.b. posting workflow isn’t as fleshed out as Ulysses is.
@pimoore I’ll keep paying for Drafts for as long as I can, even if it’s just to support the developer. Use a few of the Pro features, but that’s not even the reason to do it. Ulysses is really well done, and the posting workflow is great, as you say. But I can’t have that many subscriptions going, and iA Writer is already paid. If Ulysses was just a little more conservatively priced, I might.. but I’m only using it to post here, and the cost is just too high for me.
