Rethinking My Social Media Accounts: mattlangford.com

@Mtt Sad that you left Micro.blog but I wish you well.

@Mtt Sonetimes one have to move things around and I have liked your posts, so I’m sorry to see you leave, but hey, others have come back, so maybe we’ll see you around here later? I’m going to NNW your blog.

@Mtt be well - safe travels - horses for courses as they say!

@odd Thanks! I am keeping a free account on Mb, so I’ll be around a little as well.

@JohnPhilpin Thank you! You’ll still see me around here, hanging on to the free account. Just not using as a blog.

@crossingthethreshold Yeah, I’m keeping the free Mb account, so I’ll still be around. And I’ll probably continue to post links to my new posts here as well.

@Mtt just read your post. found it over at bearblog.dev/discover. enjoyed it. I have a space over there as well. might use more from now on, got inspired by you.

@ndreas Cool. I like the simplicity and love the “lack” of features.

@Mtt agreed!

@pratik Yeah. Seemed the only use people got out of mine was looking at it to make their own. Wasn’t getting traffic from people interested in the content.

@gdp And that’s one of the reasons I went with Bear. If I can tinker, I will endlessly.

@Mtt Are you factoring the Micro.blog timeline into your interpretation of those stats? I for one see (and reply to) the majority of your posts via the timeline. I don’t know if others doing the same get calculated with your traffic spikes?

@gregmoore My traffic comment was specifically referring to a /now page, not overall content. Traffic didn’t play into my overall decision to make changes.
