Huh, I'm reading a fiction book set in Arizona where they mention a curfew for young people. I just searched to see if that was part of the fiction, but no, it's a real thing! Amazing. Curfew Laws by State - NYRA:

We have created a list of over 400 towns, cities, counties, and states where it is illegal for young people to be outside of their homes at certain times of the day.

@Miraz Wow! I see there is a curfew in my hometown, added 20 years after I was in high school. We certainly were out at all hours back then. Weird!

@ddanielson @Miraz That's surprising! I was out all hours as a teenager. Seems unfair to young people.

@cheribaker @ddanielson I was very surprised. But then, as a Kiwi, many many aspects of life in the US are unfathomable to me. 😆

@Miraz Understandable. I've lived here all my life and I have WTF moments on the regular. 😅

@cheribaker @Miraz It freaks me out a bit! From the time I could drive, I was never in by 11 PM.

@Miraz I looked at that Curfew Law list...so in some places it's illegal to go out early in the morning for exercise if you are younger than 17?? (Also weird to me that some people like you and @Cheri mentioned you were out at all hours as teenagers? How? Where? With or without telling the people you lived with where you were going to be?)

@val @Cheri @ddanielson Oh, I wasn't out till all hours. My parents were pretty strict about such things. It was Cheri and Dave I think.
