@billbennettnz Our letterbox is ~300 metres from the house so I find those notifications very handy, especially if the item is in any way precious. The (rural) postie only brings to the house parcels that really truly need to be signed for by me (she has authorisation to sign for most) or that are too big for the letterbox.
@Miraz Yes, that makes sense. It also made sense when the MacBook Pro was delivered…. I wouldn’t want that on the doorstep for more than a minute.
