@kaa That's a useful change in perspective that hadn’t occurred to me. Thank you. I too mourn damage to my treasured possessions. Next time something happens I'll try to remember Wabi-sabi and the story created.

@kaa @Miraz A world in which we all remember the virtue, and beauty of scars is not a bad thing at all. It is a record of sorts; a memory without any of the alarming consequences of what most people consider to be a recording in our increasingly digital-first world.

@kaa What a beautiful story. My knowledge of Wabi-Sabi came from my wife’s love and selling of repurposed Japanese textiles and pottery. But this story gives me a whole new perspective to work with. Thank you.
