Everyone complains about damn autocorrect but no one ever turns it off 🤔
@pratik Funny you say that! Mine is permanently off and I also have the automatic shift key deactivated! 😂
@pratik I never complain about autocorrect. I wouldn't be able to spell some words without it. I like to blame it for typos, but really I just don't like editing my texts.
@joelhamill I rarely complain coz my spelling is atrocious. Mostly it has saved my hide from typos.
@pratik It takes me maybe half a dozen times on a new device before I remember to do that. Still, isn't autocorrect a great excuse for bad spelling? Autocorrect probably also takes the heat for bad voice-to-text conversion.
@pratik On iPhone, by default, the shift key illuminates when you start a new sentence, meaning that you don’t have to tap it. (I prefer to tap it.) The setting is auto-capitalisation.
@pratik man, autocorrect is downright magical. I could type this with my face, and somehow the iOS keyboard would figure most of it out.
I’ll take the occasional ducking error for that kind of technosorcery.
@pratik I think the value when it does work must be high enough for people to not bother looking for the settings.
