@kimberlyhirsh I love everything about this post. From one of my favourite episodes of TNG as well, to learning to accept ourselves and our humanity more instead of just seeing everything as a win or lose scenario. And if you treat a “loss” as an opportunity to learn and grow instead, it need not feel so defeating.

@kimberlyhirsh very nice piece… reminds me of the frustrations of my younger self, and even of my not so young self… i have had the good fortune to get to a place where i do what i do without feeling it required that anyone respond to it… somewhere along the line i came across a quote attributed to John Cage… “Just make the work, something will come of it”… this sounds precisely what you have done… congrats!
