Interesting book. Wolfe is erudite in seemingly every field and wondrously well-read. Her writing is typical of academics, but one wishes the compelling ideas she has were presented in a clearer style.
@isaacgreene One of the best things I heard at Cambridge were her Hulsean lectures, which I think became this book. Incredibly generative, though yes not always perspicuous. Most big names in theology today just aren’t that great, but she’s the real deal.
@JudsonGreene I figured you may have run into her. It’s a short book, but dense. Lots of ideas to think on.
