@JohnPhilpin Except…shouldn’t that have been something like “Able was I ere I saw Smolensk (or Minsk, or whatever)”…if he were still able before Elba, he never would have ended up seeing Elba in the first place! But, no, he saw Elba because he was already unable, and it only got worse after that. 😂
