@JohnPhilpin Have you listened? Would you compare the album more like any past moment in time or is this all new territory?

@hjalm I have not … the words came from a review I read .. will edit to make that clearer. I will give it a whirl … but have to say my experiences of ‘once great bands’ doing ‘one more’ are not great.

@JohnPhilpin I agree. Sometimes bands pick up right where they left off. Sometimes it’s not similar and therefore off-putting. Not because the music is bad per se, but use of a name sets expectations

@JohnPhilpin I've bought it and played it a few times. I like it a lot. Certainly the best music made by this lineup of the band. By the way I have zero time for all of the "tribute band" mockers.

@JohnPhilpin Yeah. The negativity around Yes really gets to me. I’d like to know what you think of the album. I’m presuming that quote is from Sid Smith’s review. He’s a very dependable critic and writer.

@JohnPhilpin Honest review. I like it a lot. Good to see them doing longer tracks again. I don’t think I like it as much as Fly From Here though.
