I left the UK 35 years ago to live in New Zealand and still get the occasional urge to have mushy peas with my fish and chips.
@billbennettnz me too … I went out to Fishsmith in Herne Bay a couple of weeks ago and came back with fish, chips and two mushy peas … Jax ( the Kiwi in the house), just couldn’t understand!
