@JohnPhilpin I do like the time-limited automatic creation of the issues but the significant lack of customisation options makes it a much more stressful process than it ought to be.
Of course, this is complicated by the fact that email apps are not the same as browsers with regard to compatibility (HTML, CSS, Markdown) and whatnot so I assume it can be quite difficult to resolve conflicts. Also doesn't help that the boom in newsletters means there are a bunch of points of comparison, many of which share the same features that have effectively become table stakes.
@SimonWoods time limit is fine if just tweaking … but tween you are trying to manage overall look annoying
@manton recognizes there is another iteration needed .. but no idea when …
@JohnPhilpin With the way things are setup currently, too much customisations with newsletters are slightly tricky. And as Simon says, even after doing all the hard work, getting it consistent across all email clients is not guaranteed. So, I have managed something thats enough and try to stick to it.
@amit I get the different client issues … I just seem to get variations from day to day for no reason … eg today suddenly in the middle of the mail my separators weren’t centered … or why > causes the quote not to be seen … still learning a lot ;j
@JohnPhilpin @amit I have some newsletter improvements in the queue for later... I hadn't considered how much people might want to customize the style in this initial version of the feature.
@manton btw … your comment doesn’t appear in my mentions?
@timapple oh … totally agree … but wouldn’t you approach the iterative stages differently if you knew the end goal … as opposed to just adding a couple more variations ?
