Signs of my age I’m sure, but while I’ve heard of Taylor Swift, and keep hearing how she’s ruining the NFL (or whatever), I could not name you or hum a single song by her.

@kaa I delved in recently, as a man of 46. She has some pretty decent songs, I was pleasantly surprised.

@kaa Me, too. I started to listen to one on an NPR Tiny Desk performance, but it seemed too much like 3 minutes I could spend doing something better.

@BenSouthwood Ive not purposely avoided her music, rather it really made it through my naturally constructed barriers.

@kaa Oh, I know. I’m set in my ways, but being a synth-pop fan some of her stuff is actually right up my street.

@kaa I haven’t knowingly heard anything by her but I assume I must have heard something without knowing who the artist was: it would be a miracle if I hadn’t.
