Really enjoying this new translation from David Bentley Hart

Like N. T. Wright’s “Bible for Everyone” translation, it allows some of the surprising nuances to come through.

@toddgrotenhuis "Phosphoros" for "morning star" was a little much. Maybe he should have gone all out and used "Lucifer". ( 2 Peter 1:19). Sometimes he just seems to be contrary.

@toddgrotenhuis N T Wright and D B Hart had a very public spat about this translation. Not my circus, but if you admire both of them, it might be worth looking up.
