@manton have you ever considered a user registry here that is opt-in? There are a lot of people using this platform and the Discover section is just a tiny, tiny section of what is going on. Would be nice to have just a list of people using micro.blog to browse. Again fully opt-in for those who don’t want to be on a list like that.
@jasonkratz I hadn’t thought about it exactly like that, but I definitely want to do more for discovery and directories of people. We started building on blogroll.org too and could do more there.
@manton Thanks for bringing this up @jasonkratz I am also keen on having something like it. I have not been on Discovery page even once, and I check it everyday. Maybe it is worth looking into expending it. There are a lot interesting blogs on here.
@Jacek @jasonkratz Sorry you haven’t been included yet! We try to make Discover just a slice of things, so it doesn’t include everything, but I’d love to see your posts there. I think people would love your photos too. (Maybe an opt-in directory would be good and I’m overthinking it…)
