Today I remembered why I had stopped listening to Hello Internet a long time ago.

@Gabz Why is that then? I really like the show, except when they go into Youtube shit that really doesn't interest me very much (except some of the legal stuff)

@kaa I’m not sure how to explain it, there some “jerkyness” , and it’s not all the time, but enough to make me not enjoy their conversations sometimes. So instead of getting angry or ranting about it I had decided to just not consume it anymore. Also yeah when they get into YouTube stuff I don’t care.

@Gabz Can you be a bit more specific? I’m not going to try to convince you that you are wrong, I’m just curious because Hello Internet is my favourite podcast (along with Grey’s other podcast Cortex) .

@MrHenko Oh that's alright, I probably should have given it more thought before making such a statement I guess. I wish I could be more specific than this, I think It's a presonality thing perhaps. Or maybe the show itself, that I dont enjoy it as much as I probably should and most people do (like yourself) but I dont know. I love Cortex, I have no problems litsening to that one (unless they do a book or movie/documentary discussion). This time around was more like "I forgot why I had stopped litsening" and gave it a try and then I remembered that I dont enjoy it and thats why I had stopped consuming the show. :)

@Gabz Interesting that you like Cortex and not H.I. I first imagined your dislike of it was related to Grey himself. A friend, whom I got to listen to Cortex, described him as an “alpha geek douchebag” and I think I get how he can come off as that to some people. Anyway, I’m not here to argue. It’s always interesting to see how peoples taste differs and how to people who both like one thing can have wildly differing opinions about something else that’s still very similar. :)

@MrHenko oh no! No worries, it actually had me thinking and yes I can totally see him coming out as a dush a little bit. But at the end what I reckoned is that. I listen to shows and I got tired of them, then I unsubscribe and then after a while I subscribe again, but in the case of HI, I am still not ready to listen again, if that makes sense. The same happened with a buck or Relay shows, I just had to stop listening and take a break.
