@maique A: The sun peaking out from his shoulder and how much more he stands out from the background.

@maique B almost looks like an album art, book cover, or movie poster, love it

@maique Top of A, bottom of B. In A, the body tilts just enough to reveal the sun spot, the hat is jauntier. In B, the lift of the left foot and the cane off the ground, the separation of both the left foot and its shadow, the gleam of moisture round the right foot. The blowout in the top of B is formless, where the spot of golden light in A draws our eye away.

So, go back and pose him by that man hole cover, line up the light and have him walk through a few more times….

@maique B, the sun in A draws the eye a bit much. And for some reason I kinda like the cel-shaded cartoon look in B.

@maique A, because the tight shot makes it’s more clear what the subject is.

@maique both are fantastic, but I liked “A” better. That sunshine over his shoulder looks awesome.

@maique A, the rim light in B makes it look too artificial for my taste

@maique I’d go B! I think without the direct glare of the sun, the glow of the subject’s outline stands out much more! It’s such a cool effect that I haven’t seen often.
