@kaa As soon as library support comes to Windows I am buying and trying it as my main writing app.
@Gaby the best and it’s actually pretty powerful if you consider templates (which I’ve never taken full advantage of, but they seem to be working on a simplified system)
@simonwoods the windows dev is coming along but pretty slowly. I don’t think the Kickstarter was a roaring success - it met its goal but only just...an indication of the market?
@kaa Oh, for sure. At the very least it reflects the lack of a deep enthusiast community. The commodity reality of the software has embedded itself deep within its userbase, even as Microsoft puts some effort into moving towards a truly customer-friendly product. Bill Gates' legacy in tech is the mindset that all hardware and software is most valuable as a tool for legacy industries, barely worth paying for, and not at all worth caring about beyond a... surface level.
