Want "reply on Micro.blog" links on your blog? I have a working prototype running on my blog.
Should I pack this up as a plug-in? Let me know if you're interested in helping out with testing.

Given your activity in another thread, you might be interested in this, @cygnoir, @toddgrotenhuis, @JohnPhilpin, and @pratik. π
@sod I already have the βreply by emailβ option via the Tufte theme. Does this play nice?
Okay, fellow beta testers. Start your engines. π If you want a reply on Micro.blog link, follow the installation instructions for the Conversation on Micro.blog plug-in. If you get stuck, I'm here. @toddgrotenhuis, @JohnPhilpin, @cygnoir, and @object_required
@cygnoir @skoobz Yepp, it will work just fine with Tufte. Of course, every theme is different, so the actual inclusion of the link might differ depending on your setup. But the plug-in should be compatible with most themes.
I've evaluated the beta version of the plug-in with Tufte and documented one installation approach here.
@sod you lost me at
Click on your custom theme. (It's probably named Marfa Custom or something like that.) and Click on the relevant template. (Often layouts/post/single.html but varies from theme to theme.)
I was on Blank theme with the Tufte plugin, and no custom theme.
I tried creating a custom theme (uncloned) to edit this file and I don't see a similarly named one. Here are the options:
@toddgrotenhuis Ah, edge cases. π I wrote documentation specific for the Tufte theme, actually. For the "theme gallery" version, though, not the plug-in version. But it might be close enough? Please try the Tufte-specific instructions and get back to me if you get stuck again.
@sod @toddgrotenhuis This is awesome, totally adding this to my theme! If you like I can add a point to the documentation linking to your plug-in page for more information.
@pimoore So I don't need to do anything but update the Tufte theme when it's ready, then?
@toddgrotenhuis Correct, once I add it and increment the plugin number, it will propagate to anyone with Tufte installed.
@pimoore Great idea! That will make it even easier for people with Tufte installed. How will you go about adding the partial call to the template? I guess you have to safeguard, so the theme won't blow up if the person doesn't have my plug-in installed.
@sod This is brilliant. I always wondered how this can be done, but had forgotten about conversations.js. Well done! ππΌ
