@Cheri Great! Must be such relief. And your post about the whole event was brilliant to read. Nice! ππΌπ
@Cheri Great news! And yes looking up symptoms and conditions via Google will shorten lifespans.
@Cheri So glad to hear it. When I had to have a biopsy in the 1980s, I consulted my copy of Our Bodies, Ourselves to learn more, and the line drawing of the procedure fueled a lot of anxiety. No internet required.
@jean I remember that book! I ran across a copy in college and I remember thinking there was so much I didnβt know about my own body.
@Cheri hey, thatβs great! And I love your observations about the internet and worry. Iβm trying to reduce the emotional footprint of things like that. Helpful to read your thoughts.
@Cheri It was a radical book when it was published, the same year as Roe v Wade, at a time when most gynecologists were men.π
@Cheri Missed this initially. Glad to hear the result.
βThose wacky, waving, inflatable tube men that dance outside car dealerships,β by the way, are called air dancers. Purdue had a 7-foot-plus center a few years ago who looked like an air dancer most of his freshman year.
@Cheri Great to hear! I was away for Christmas and didnβt follow Micro.Blog, so I didnβt see your post, but this is really good news! Having had a biopsy, I know itβs painful, but, like you said, itβs quickly over. I rate it like wisdom teeth pulled, but for shorter.
If anyone have pain somewhere in their body, or lumps, or whatever issue, please go see a doctor. I understand this is a financial problem sometimes/somewhere, but if you can, you should.
