@manton , the export to Day One, I am guessing the more entries and pictures I have on my blog the longer it would take? Or it shouldnt take too long? I have a little over 4K posts. Would that take a long time?

@Gaby Yes, 4k posts (especially if there are hundreds of photos) will probably take a little while. Minutes, not hours. I don’t have any estimate because it depends on so many things.

@manton I see, wondering if something isn’t right. It has been a few hours and not even at, lets say 15%

@Gaby Sounds like it got stuck. I’d cancel and start over. Also, I recommend creating a new journal and making it the default to import into for testing.

@manton okay, and I did create a separate dedicated default journal for it

@manton also quic question, there was something about doing a thing in command line because Micro.blog wasn’t finding something about day one, was that a necessary thing?

@Gaby Yes, Micro.blog uses the Day One command-line tool to send data to Day One, so that has to be installed for the import to work.

@manton no luck for me I guess, it’s been about a little over an hour. This is my third attempt 🤷🏻‍♂️

@Manton that being said, the name of whatever file is trying to download, does change, is not like it’s stuck on the same file
