@gr36 There is so much in this that I agree with. You know how many times I have gotten a message asking “have you tried this app, do you use it?”, I say “no, i do not” “but how could you not, (insert podcaster or youtuber here) is raving about it, it’s what he or she is using”

@gr36 agree with this, even when I have succumbed to it too. @relay.fm will have lots on Craft app at the moment, where as every one on @gruber timeline will be talking about iA writer. Subconscious advertising for us. Lol.

@gr36 new is a very powerful marketing idea. There are clearly click/financial incentives for bloggers/vloggers/podcasters to talk about the new hotness. I try to remind myself that when I want to change tool, the issue is usually with me not the tool, and yet changing tool can help start things a fresh without the old baggage (I’m really thinking of changing task managers there!)

@Munish I read this, and I was trying to figure out what was new and cool about iA Writer. The answer, apparently, is nothing, which is totally okay because it’s just a good writing environment. Though definitely not good for all writing, at least in my case.
