@joshuapsteele my blog, I am sure I have written stuff all over, from Drafts to iA writer, to Ulysses. Ultimately would love to settle on one app, Ulysses being the one but not being able to post to Micro.blog from it prevents me from sticking with it for a long time. Also, everything I write, no matter what, it ends up on my blog. Once is published, I don’t care where it leaves after that

@ChrisJWilson you archive your material in Drafts? Or just write in Drafts and then store elsewhere?

@Gabz mmm amen, I wish Ulysses and Micro.Blog played nicely together!

@joshuapsteele for me I don’t try to keep hold of my free writing (maybe that’s a mistake?) so it either stays in draft, gets archived or goes in DayOne.

@joshuapsteele I write everything in Drafts and it stays in Drafts. Notes, blog posts, etc. It all starts and lives in Drafts.

@joshuapsteele notebooks, mainly. I sort through them every once in a blue moon and pull ideas and such out to put in Bear to work up into drafts, posts, essays, whatever.

@joshuapsteele Physical notebook. This year I’ve filled up a Nuuna and just started on a Stalogy. I use a variety of fountain pens, favorite lately is the TWSBI ECO.
