On the web, if I build something that works within the standards, it works. Whether people use it is up to them. On iOS, there is another question entirely: whether Apple decides it should exist.

@manton I don't get this us vs them mentality. These are two different platforms. If the web is better for a given project, it should live on the web. There are millions of crap apps, and while there have been some notable blocks by Apple (esp in China), there is always the web. That is where the web shines. I understand most people find Apps and thus something on the web is not as discoverable, but that says something about the web platform to me. People should improve that.

@Eyebeemania Not really. I think some of Apple’s extra time is wasted, not directly related to the safety of the app.
