It’s a small thing but when I’m a regular at a coffee shop and they know my order when I walk in, it gives me so much joy. Great way to start the day. This sometimes even happens when traveling after a few days at the same place. ☕️

@manton being acknowledged as a person is more than a small thing.

@manton next to the library where I work there is a Dunkin Donuts and a Burger King. I’ve been going by them in the morning to get coffee since 2016. Same people still work there, and it is always nice to speak with them and have that small but regular connection.

@manton I regularly use the coffee shop next to my workplace. They know my order. I was off work for a few weeks following an operation and when I went back to work and into the coffee shop, I was told I had been missed. That’s kinda nice too, because in our busy fast world, that doesn’t often happen.

@Eyebeemania That’s really nice. It’s interesting how some people (basically strangers) come in and out of our lives and if they disappear it’s kind of a mystery.
