I read parts of the Trump immunity decision, skipping around to what Roberts wrote and the dissent. The main opinion is dangerous. This court is undermining what we believe in as a country. Need a strong response from Biden. He should have “discussions with Justice Department officials” about it. 🇺🇸

@manton Time for some “official acts” from Biden, like sending six Supreme Court justices to Gitmo.

@manton If the president doesn't have some sort of immunity, then the majority if not all need to be prosecuted for something or other. None of them are innocent. Most are fairly awful. I would argue, to even want the position most likely identifies you as an awful person.

@manton The horse is **so** far out of the barn here. This is a straight up political activist SC majority. We have a massive problem on our hands. The founders wanted a President, not a King

@ChowWi I disagree about "awful". You can be ambitious and still try to make life better for people and generally do good. I have no problem with "some sort of" immunity, but "absolute" is too far.

@manton I can get onboard, but who defines what type of things their is immunity from? Case by case? It would be such a hard line to walk, and who do we trust to be the decider? Everything is complicated...lol

@manton You can see that Republicans know deep down that Democrats are good people with high morals.. otherwise they wouldn’t give a sitting Democrat the power to do whatever he wants to them in total immunity as long as he does it “in an official capacity”.
