Five years ago today I adopted Paco from a university buy and sell page on Facebook. He’s by far the greatest thing that website ever provided me (other than using it to meet and chat with @martinfeld)! 🥰

@Burk Actually, number 3 would be the brand new Apple TV I bought at a significant discount from the same buy and sell page. The person selling had bought it, unwrapped the box and then decided they didn’t want it. Everything inside was untouched! Still the one we use now!

@NTKF I got the whole kit on Etsy. The hats are pretty difficult to secure, but maybe they’d stay on your fuzzy ones better.

@NTKF is completely right, @Burk. We have this glorious LG 4K HDR TV and we’ve never been able to see the full potential of my iTunes library. I wish that Apple would just update the Apple TV, as I often get perilously close to just wasting money on the current one.

@poetalegre You raise an excellent point but I enjoy tvOS too much to move away from it. 🙂 We also purchased this TV prior to the whole Apple deal with manufacturers, which would probably require an update and I’ve heard from others that it can ruin things with HDMI-CEC. (I just have to be patient!)

@martinfeld Thank you for the response. I have the appletv app on my 4K LG so I unplugged my appletv 4th gen box. I dislike the tv app so I don't even use it. I was unclear about the tvOS vs the app. I guess I expected the app to be more so I'm going to plug my box back in. I'm with you as far as the hardware is concerned. If they come out with a new generation I may buy it. Cheers.

@poetalegre No worries! It really just comes down to preference and if you get more out of the Apple TV box, then great! 😀
