@manton I don't think you can claim "TikTok is still probably a net negative for society" if you're not on the app, or aren't seeing the communities / connections being built there that have nothing to do with US vs China relations. 🤷♂️
@manton Given Bytedance’s CEO abject applogy when the company did censor according to the CCP’s liking, I think it’s pretty clear that TikTok will do whatever the Party asks for.
