@bsag I’ve been using this regularly just to marvel at the birds who are my neighbors now that I live on the Oregon coast. Even if I don’t see them (yet), the Sound ID is so cool for knowing what to be on the lookout for.

@jean I imagine that it is even more useful when you move to a new area (or country, even). I bet you get some great seabirds or even waders there?

@bsag It is an absolute delight, even if often unconfirmed visually.

@jeremycherfas I never did see the goldcrest on that occasion, though I am lucky enough to see them in the garden now and then.

@bsag thanks for that! Only a week ago I was in Connecticut and there was this bird I remember from my childhood I think I wanted to identify... Now I can!
