I have now placed three separate photo apps on my opening screen. Each has qualities good for a different type of image. It’s like having a bag of cameras at your fingertips!

@numericcitizen all three apps are pretty good and can be used interchangeably. ProCamera has a perspective correction function that is easy to use and does a good job when shooting buildings or built environments. It’s part of an upgrade package that has other goodies I haven’t explored much. Camera+ has a slider zoom for each lens that enlarges up to 6 times. It is digital zoom of course which degrades the image but there are times when it’s useful and it’s right there when you bring the app up. I mostly use Halide but that is funky every once in a while and it is good to have options. There is also the native photo app which I tend to go to for pano and video shots.
@mbkriegh thanks for the clarification. I know Halide. I know Camera+ since its inception. I rarely use those thse days, prefering the Apple way.
@numericcitizen the one problem with the Apple app which is a deal breaker is that it doesn’t stick in raw mode. I am an always raw photographer. I hate having to Switch raw on every time I open.
@mbkriegh did you know the "Preserve Settings" section under the Camera in Settings.app, you'll be able to set your iPhone to keep the RAW mode.
