Attempts to refill the bird feeders have resulted in squirrels taking over the backyard. They are relentless. I’m downstairs trying to work and keep getting distracted looking out the window.

@manton I just re-conceptualize them as squirrel feeders that the birds are allowed to use too.
@manton Squirrels are the scourge of the procrastinator.
@manton What about dumping a sack of almonds in the neighbors backyard, so the squirrels will be occupied by them instead? (Just kidding!) 🌰🌰🌰🐿️🐿️🐿️
@manton Found out today that a (probably) squirrel chewed a hole in the side of the house and has gotten into the attic. Never knew they were this relentless!
@manton in case you haven’t already seen Mark Rober’s squirrel vs bird feeder antics: https://youtu.be/hFZFjoX2cGg
@manton I know this feeling. I've had a bird feeder out there for about 8-9 months, and today was the first day I've seen a squirrel up in the feeder eating (not to say it wasn't there before, but I just haven't seen it). I had to run it off several times today, and have already ordered one of those squirrel guards for my pole. Should be here in a few days.
@manton it holds a special place in my memory because it was the first video of any kind my then 3rd grader learned about via her school friends and told me I had to watch.
