First day post-surgery (2 weeks ago today) trying to do some real work - taxes - and I fizzled after about 45 minutes 🫤 Hoping I can find the energy and brainpower for both taxes and a project scope I need to prep this week… Recovery is sooo slowwwww 🐌

@tracydurnell 45 minutes is exactly 45 more than 0 minutes! Or as that bear on the Muppets from Space movie would say, "Baby steps, sir. Baby steps."

@tracydurnell In my experience, they oversold the short recovery. “A week later, and you’ll be back at work.” That was not true for me at all. So tired. Even a phone call wore me out. For a few weeks. I think the medical professionals minimize the whole procedure because you can live without that organ, so removing it should be no big deal. 😒

@jean haha, agreed! They told me I could ride my exercise bike but I think I'll stick to slow walking for now 😂 At least the timing has worked out that I could totally skip working the past two weeks, and only have a little that needs doing this week.
