You can customize what’s shown in Standby on iOS 17, which is cool, but is there no way to get those settings to stick?

@numericcitizen Oh, I know how to edit the widgets.

I always want Clock I on the right and Carrot Forecast on the left, so I delete all the other widgets and turn off the auto-rotate/suggest stuff. And then the next time I put it on the stand, it’s all back there again.

What am I doing wrong?

@AngeloStavrow Also, is there apparently no way to get the screen to stay active once StandBy has kicked in? Or am I missing it?

@petebrown That’s a good question. I feel like that requires a phone with an always-on display, but I usually only dock the thing when I go to bed (so night mode is active), and it turns on the screen when it detects movement in that case.
