If Apple sold something like this I would buy it.
I find Amazon software clunky and unintuitive … the hardware I like - the idea to just focus on reading / I like.
But not enough to outweigh the software.
@JohnPhilpin oh I’d buy an Apple version in a heartbeat for sure! I’m using my iPad mini quite a lot to get as close to a Kindle device as I can, but it’s not the same.
@JohnPhilpin I do like Kindles but I'm still surprised at how slow the interface can be after years of hardware and software updates.
@stefp When was the last time you restarted it? Mine was really struggling to turn a page so I restarted it and it’s like it used to be.
@philbowell I haven’t noticed any particular recent slowdowns. Page turning in books is okay but everything else has always been slow.
