@ia With a few minor exceptions where I need #Pandoc conversions, #Vim table mode, or support for an atypical #Markdown variant like #Markua, #iawriter is far and away my favorite GUI editor and note-taking app. It's my second most-used #macOS and #iOS app outside the terminal, with Notes being first.

Now, if only I could get the undocumented format of #AppleNotes to bulk import into iA Writer I could solve 99% of every snippet problem I have ever had! One can dream, right?

@todd_a_jacobs i think, you can do it with Obsidian importer. Maybe it’s a solution to you.

I think, you can use it with same vault as ia writer main folder and export all notes from notes:)

@Callmetoshik I'll take a look. On iOS, a lot of Obsidian seems to be commercial, and I don't really need yet another Markdown, wiki, or note tool. If it works as an intermediate format I'll definitely take a look though. I appreciate the suggestion!

@todd_a_jacobs it can help with extraction of notes and after you can delete it.

Now I’m working with ia writer too. But for now my wife extracting notes from notion and it helps a lot.

Unrelated question: does Writer have a way to add/remove items within an ordered list and have the numbers adjusted accordingly? Currently I select the whole list and switch ordered off and on, which I find tricky with larger lists on mobile.

@dsw No. You're currently using the best method for renumbering lists. We'd like to make lists "smarter" in the future, but don't make any promises. 🙂
