I won’t upgrade my original HomePod pair but I thank Apple for bringing new features to a product that I thought was done. I’m happy to learn that release 16.3 will enable dormant sensors of the HomePod mini.
@numericcitizen I never bought the original HomePod, and when I was ready it was discontinued. I wouldn’t upgrade from the first generation unless it stops working. I hope they have fixed ageing issues which affect the first generation.
@numericcitizen Some people report their speaker stops working until reboot, and even dies completely, there are stereo sync issues where one of a pair stops working, and general sound issues. Heard first on ATP from Marco.
