There’s a particular word starting with “s” and rhyming with “fart” mossing from these low-end budget TVs that makes me very interested in buying one.
@yorrike heck yes! We have a smart tv, I do not use any of the “smart” features, that’s handled by the Apple TV.
@matpacker Just sell me an excellent panel in a nice case. I can update the “smart” part at my leisure over the 10–15 year lifespan of the panel.
@yorrike exactly, don’t compromise on the screen quality by jamming “smart” stuff in... It’s nice to have additional features and 2-yearly upgrades on my phone, but I don’t want that in a tv.
